The Los Angeles Arab Orchestra is the leading community orchestra in Southern California performing world music with emphasis on the classical and traditional music of the Arab world. Comprised of local singers and musicians, professionals and amateurs, it reflects the tremendous talent among community members. It has performed at many local theaters and venues and attracted large audiences. With the aid of a Board of Directors, the 503c non-profit organization is led by the Artistic Director Hasan Minawi, an experienced musician and music educator with many awards and recognitions.
