The Los Angeles Clarinet Choir: Clarinet Fiesta!
The Los Angeles Clarinet Choir returns to HMC with a sizzling program of original works and arrangements from Latin America for clarinet ensemble, including favorites by Zequinha de Abreu, Lorenzo Barcelata, Astor Piazzolla, Álvaro Carrillo, and more.

The Eclipse Quartet with William Kanengiser: British Invasion
The Eclipse Quartet is joined by guitarist William Kanengiser of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet for a concert featuring reimagined works of hit songs by iconic musicians from across the pond, including The Beatles, John Dowland, Sting, and Led Zeppelin.

The HMC American Gamelan
HMC’s ensemble of metallophones and gongs ring out in performances of works by Lou Harrison and Bill Alves.

Rachel Huang, Cindy Fogg, Tom Flaherty, and Stephan Moss: French Music for Piano Quartet
This concert features members from and beyond the Claremont Colleges performing Gabriel Fauré’s first Piano Quartet and the “Spanish” quartet of Louise Héritte-Viardot.

"Spirit Child" interweaves an adaptation of a Mexican pastorela with music of the Mexican Renaissance and Baroque in a heartwarming story chronicling the shepherds’ journey to the newborn Christ Child, ultimately celebrating the triumph of good over evil.

Sarah-Nicole Ruddy: “A Matter of Britain: Myth and Mythos of the British Isles”
Mezzo-Soprano Sarah-Nicole Ruddy presents songs by Purcell, Strauss, and Sullivan as well as selections from Swann’s song cycle “The Road Goes Ever On” (with text by J.R.R. Tolkien), exploring Arthurian legend, folktales, and legends from the British isles.

Jenny Soonjin Kim, piano: Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 “Emperor”
Fresh from her performances in Vienna of Beethoven’s complete piano concertos with the Savaria Symphony, Kim returns to HMC to perform the majestic “Emperor” Concerto in a compelling two-piano version.

HMC Early Music Ensemble
Come and enjoy the crumhorns, shawms, cornettos, and recorders of the HMC Early Music Ensemble performing music from the European Middle Ages and Renaissance.
