 Call for Works from the Makerspace, Harvey Mudd College – Submissions accepted all year round 


Sprague Gallery is pleased to announce a call for works made in the HMC Makerspace. The works will be considered for exhibitions in 2024-2025.

This call is open all year. To apply, email to jlhong@g.hmc.edu the following requirements:

1. Up to five images and/or links
2. Statement about the submitted works and/or your practice
3. Bio in one or two sentences including college, year, and major – or department and position if faculty and staff

All open calls are curated and submission does not guarantee exhibition opportunity.

Sprague Gallery is pleased to announce an open call for artists for exhibitions in 2024-2025. All students, faculty, and staff of The Claremont Colleges are welcome to apply.

Backdrop is an installation view of artworks on gallery floor: clockwise from top left, bedsprings, butcher’s twine, an ironing board, a camping stove, a table with a mirror and various objects on top, and a flat monitor. Madeline Coven’s Untitled Looms 2 & 3 (2017) are mixed media installations of unconventional loom forms as sculpture.
